LV0302 laser methane gas detector is designed to meet customer requirement of long-distance detection. The detection distance is more than 150m.The product is used for long-distance detection of technology and pipeline facilities,and inspection of urban high-rise riser and vacant houses.The detector is equipped with red dot scope which can make it convenient to long-distance alignment.The product adopt high-performance narrow band laser,combined with the company's patented algorithmic technology.So it has high detection accuracy and stable performance especially for double glazing and other special environment.

Operating principle:
The product uses the characteristics of methane that it absorbs specific wavelength of laser,Tunable Diode Laser Absorption Spectroscopy (TDLAS) and good monochromatic and modulated characteristics of semiconductor laser to realize analysis and detection of methane absorbing spectral line.
When the gas detector is working, the laser beam points to gas pipeline, process facilities,etc. It will reflect back scattered laser from the object. And the detector will receives the laser reflected back and measures its absorptivity to estimate whether there is leaking.
